Welcome to Five Island Aussies
I am a small breeder located near Mallard, Iowa. I raise mini size Aussies. My adult Aussies are health tested to make sure they are sound, healthy, and capable of providing the best quality puppies for my new buyer(s). Puppies here at Five Island Aussies are not available to go to their new home until they are eight weeks of age. They will have their tails docked, dew claws removed, and will be up to date on vaccinations and worming. All my dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and/or the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR).
For the love of the breed
I fell in love with the Australian Shepherd breed because of their beauty and intelligence. Often, they are too smart for their own good! Aussies are loyal and devoted to their owner(s). Their desire to please makes them a great candidate to train and takes care of their energy level. They do well with another Aussie or dog and once you get one it's hard to not get another one! Aussies will steal your heart!
